On 15 august 2021, the Taliban entered the Kabul presidential palace to claim sovereignty of the whole country. After more then 20 years of insurrection and war since their first fall in 2001, the Taliban of 2022 are trying to show a new face to the western world and the afghan people. Despite their efforts to convince the masses, the dark barbaric and ultra conservative reputation remain their most realistic identity.
